PlayMaker Health is seeking a Sr. Product Manager that has CRM, sales and marketing automation, data analytics, or healthcare experience. This individual combines a deep understanding of the customer’s needs with the capabilities of the development team and emerging technologies to develop a product that is both compelling and achievable.  The product manager is an expert in modern forms of product planning, customer discovery, product discovery, and product development processes to effectively execute on the company’s software goals.

Intellectual curiosity, integrity, motivation, vision, competitive spirit and passion are essential to this role.  This role reports to the VP, Product and will have broad exposure to executives throughout PlayMaker Health.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Translates product strategy into detailed business and user requirements and prototypes and works with engineers to implement these features
  • Builds deep customer understanding to represent the customer’s voice and solve for their needs throughout the product development processes
  • Takes ownership for the day-to-day decisions on analytics features within PlayMaker’s products including prioritization and scope definition to ensure product development stays aligned with business needs
  • Conducts product research to further understand the competitive landscape, opportunities for growth, and best-in-class product requirements that deliver measurable value for customers
  • Partners with internal and external domain experts to highlight current and emerging analytic product trends – including such things as: embedded analytics into workflows, unstructured data uses, behavior analytics, predictive and prescriptive analytics, and triangulation of data for integrity
  • Assists with go to market strategy of all analytics capabilities while meeting market demand and timetable
  • Evangelizes the product within the market
  • Supports customer acquisition, adoption, and ongoing support activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working on SaaS applications and technologies where s/he has been responsible for product vision, product roadmaps, product requirements and delivery of product to users
  • Has a passion for products and for technology – loves to innovate to solve complex problems
  • Has proven success in launching new features and building product adoption and engagement
  • Familiarity with both web and native mobile applications
  • Knows how to build empathy with customers
  • Experience with agile development processes
  • Ability to speak fluently with everyone – developers, marketers, sales, customer success, clients, prospects, and stakeholders
  • Strong written and presentation skills
  • Very strong analytical skills, high degree of comfort with statistical concepts and understanding on how to use data to drive decisions and workflows; SQL skills a plus
  • BA or BS is required; degree in a quantitative field of study preferred
  • Healthcare experience a plus
